UCLA Employee/Retiree Volunteer Opportunities
Special opportunities are available during the early morning, evening and weekend hours for UCLA employees to volunteer and make that special connection to our patients, families and fellow staff. The commitment ranges from 3 - 4 hours per week with some departments offering flexibility.
Employees may consider a shift in one of the following areas:
- Child Life
- Spiritual Care
- People Animal Connection
- Maddie's Room
- Surgical Waiting Area/Santa Monica
- Information Desk
- Patient Transport
- Gift Shop
UCLA Retirees
UCLA retirees are always welcome to volunteer and many have found it to be a rewarding and worthwhile experience. There are many opportunities available, and the hospital could greatly use your expertise.
Please note: employees must volunteer in a different role and department than their assigned work; retirees cannot volunteer in the department where they were once employed, or even in a similar capacity. Volunteer assignments must be distinct and different from paid employment or former employment.
